Milk Crescents **סהרוני חלב

Finished!! ,Jeff I know It's your Idea to write this word when you finished to cook/bake,can I use it too today? I hope It's OK? :-)





















16 Milk Crescents סהרוני חלב1 ts sugar
1 cup warm milk
4 ts (=12 gr) dry yeast
500 gr AP flour
1/2 ts salt
30 gr (=2 TB) butter(melted and cool slightly)
1 egg
1 egg yolk ,beaten

H O W
Stir sugar into warm milk and sprinkle with yeast.Let stand 5 minutes or until surface is frothy.then stir.

Sift flour and salt into a large bowl.Beat butter and 1 egg into yeast mixture,pour into flour mixture, combining to make a dough.On a floured surface, knead dough until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise until doubled in size (45-60 minutes).
Divide dough into 16 pieces and shape into balls.roll out each ball into a triangle with sides about 6 in (15 cm) long ,starting at the long side opposite the point, roll up triangles using both hands... Curve each roll into a crescent.Arrange on baking sheet,brush with beaten egg yolk (with 1 ts water),cover and let rise 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 450F (230C),bake crescents 15 +- minutes or until golden.
Serve hot.
