Carrot cake עוגת גזר

When Ran came back from the (super)market with a Small bag full with carrots ,I was sure It's time to bake a carrot cake, I know summer carrots are not good as winter carrots.. but they were nice and fresh, so why not?..but I was wrong - ran Intended to eat them .. finally he told me.. Ok please bake us a carrot cake, but the best one you can.. I don't know if this one is the best one ever..(I didn't try to bake others yet, but I will..) but we like this cake very much, dark brown,very moist (maybe too much oil ?)..

Carrot cake
450 gr carrots ,peeled
170 gr AP flour
2 ts baking powder
1/2 ts bicabonate of soda
1/4 ts salt
2 ts cinnamon
4 eggs
2 ts vanilla essence
115 gr dark brown sugar
55 gr caster sugar
300 ml oil (=250 gr)
115 gr finely chopped walnuts
85 gr raisins

H O W
Preheat the oven to 350F (180c),line an 11x8 in tin with greaseproof paper. grate the carrots ans set aside.
sift:flour+baking powder+soda+salt and cinnamon into a bowl.set aside.beat the eggs until blended, add the vanilla, sugar and oil;beat to incorporate.add the dry ingredients, in 3 batches,folding in well after each addition.
add the carrots, walnuts and raisins and fold in thoroughly.

pour the mixture into the prepared tin an bake for 45 minutes.
