300 gr dried chickpeas
olive oil (2-3 TB)
freshly ground black pepper
[more Spices to taste ]
A large baking dish lined with baking paper
H O W :
Preheat your oven to 375F (190c) .
Soak the chickpeas overnight in water.
Next day cook the chickpeas with lot of water for half an hour or until soft. (don't add salt or baking soda while cooking the chickpeas).
Rinse the cooking water.
While still warm toss the chickpeas with olive oil, salt (I like grey sea salt) black pepper, a small amount of cumin / spices to taste.
Home-made Chickpeas Snack
Pour the chickpeas into the baking paper in one layer .
Bake for about - 45 minutes.Stir the chickpeas while baking every few minutes .
The Idea comes from here, thank you So much. These oven baked chickpeas become a Big hit here in my family (and here in Israel too ).
