Dulce de Leche


After 2 1/4 hours..The Jam becomes thicker .. and darker

1 1/2 hours later...

Please don't leave the Dulce de Leche alone, mix every 5 minutes !..

The Milk Jam is now cooking..

Bring the mixture to the boiling point...

1 1/2 Liter milk, 1/2 kg sugar, 1/4 ts baking soda - mix well... [vanilla can be added)

It's easier to send your husband to Chile and let him bring 2 kg Dulce de Leche home. I'll try the sweetened evaporated milk tins to make Dulce de Leche.

I know It take 2 ot 3 hours to cook this milk jam,and I think the big problem with it .. that you can't stop licking...the spoon ;)
